Cats in Critic Situations

Tha first critic situation that everybody will think in this period is surely the incredible quantity of snow that covered many regions. Even the normally snowless parts of Italy seemed North Pole... Imagine that they did not see snow for 27 years in Rome.

Now, how live this winter our cats? Here is an interesting video that will make you smile, surely.

The other extreem situation happend to this cat frightened by all those screams. The poore animal found finally the way to the rescue. I would throu the owner in prison for a couple of days for mistreatment of the animals.

Macaques ...Terrible!

Macaques are maybe the most rude animals of the world. We learned it when we visited the Zoosafari park in Fasano (Puglia).

One of the attractions was the visit of the Macaques department in a train. We could not imagine what it will be and entered the departure place confident. Some of the visitors were expert -they had bags with peanuts and other nuts that is possible to buy in the bars inside the park.

The train, as you see, was a cage for humans. And there was a good reason to PROTECT humans.

This train passes through the territory of the macaques.

All the animals, everytime they see the train passing, run to receive the nuts from the visitors.

There are special tubes in the nets of the vehicle. They are eng but some monkeys shove their hands in these tubes, too. We were afraid that they can't take them out but they knew their possibilities perfectly.

It was a strange experience, you know. I did not see something like this before and was very impressed. Theose of that park knew what to do to entertain visitors. And there were many similar attractions there. We did a long way to reach that place but it was really very interesting.

Le Roi est mort, vive le Roi!

The King is dead. Long live the King.
The life continue and, finally, there is a new King in our Cats' kingdom.
Maybe, you will remember that our Kotja was the King for about 3-4 years here. He deposed his own father that was the King before him. In 2010, Kotja surrendered a part of his kingdom to a young cat of our neighbours (probably his son).
On June,13 2011 Kotja died. And his competitor died about a month later.

From that time, there were not adult cats in our zone.

Yesterday, we heard the crys of the cats that fight for the free throne of the King.
First, I thought, Basja is teaching the rules of the life to the kittens. And, in fact, I found her turning back directly from the place of the fight. But the crys continued and it was clear that theose are two cats. We (me and Basja) went to the housedoor but I wanted to see who are the competitors. I run on the terrace ...and Basja run with me. And we, together, looked in the direction of the fight (!!! the cats are "socially curious" as we are). But everything was just finished.

A white cat with grey tail was going relaxed to the gate.
La vita continue.
